Yoga Instruction

Our Yoga classes are gentle to mid-paced sessions designed to build strength, stamina, endurance, improve flexibility and cultivate meditative focus. The classes are rounded out with introductions to breath work (Pranayama) and relaxation techniques.

Our yoga classes are suitable for any level of yoga practitioner. We provide basic instruction as well as various modifications to suit any level. Each class is structured as a balanced practice, working on various types of yoga poses, giving you guidance to increase flexibility and strengthen the entire body. We pay particular attention to alignment and form as we guide you to self awareness.

Yoga Schedule

Yoga instruction is available as private classes, group classes, corporate classes or special events. Please contact us directly for pricing and availability. Arrange customized or regular group classes with Sharlene when you have a group of 5 or more participants.

Meditation Instruction

PURE Meditation Facilitation will help you explore the benefits of meditation in your everyday life. We explore simple meditation techniques that encourage relaxation, staying in the present moment, mindfulness, awareness and expansion. You will learn:

  • basic meditations that you can take away and practice at home
  • how meditation improves health and wellbeing
  • the best meditation posture
  • where and when to meditate
  • how to create a place for meditation
  • some essential understanding of why meditation works
  • various meditation techniques
